STRUCTURE
Eurofrigo Vernate is located
strategically on the southern
outskirts of Milan, near the major
highways: 1.5 km from the A7
Milan-Genoa motorway, 10 km from
the Milan bypass and 20 km from
A1 Milan-Naples motorway.
The entire complex has been designed with several
refrigerated buildings dedicated to storage and a
refrigerated antechamber for loading and unloading.
Eurofrigo Vernate owns buildable land next to its facility
that would increase significantly the current capacity.
The refrigerated cells with “back-to-back” racks and
compactable systems are equipped with a modern RF
system and can operate at different temperatures, from
-15°C to -25°C for frozen foods and from 0°C to +4°C for
fresh foods, depending on specific client needs. The
compressor room is outfitted with 2 ammonia screw
compressors and 2 freon semi-hermetic compressors,
which assure controlled temperature in the cells and
refrigerated antechamber. The third screw compressor
and the third semi-hermetic compressor serve as
back-up if necessary.
Temperatures is monitored in real time by special
sensors and automatically regulated in all operational
areas.
The automatic system detects anomalies and reports
them immediately to the technical support service,
which is active 24/7.

by a wholly-owned fleet

by
vehicles
belonging to carriers working
on a permanent basis for
Eurofrigo Vernate. Eurofrigo
Vernate operates both locally
and nationally (including Sicily, Sardinia and other
islands) serving many destinations several times
per week thanks to:
• diversified vehicles (33-pallet semi-trailers, lorries,
vans) and equipment (hydraulic tailboards and
